Hi, I'm Griffin. Designing since 2003, automating since before it was cool.

I started as a designer, became a developer, and in 2014 co-founded 5DayDeal, an online business I still run as CEO. Today I build AI agents, automations and web apps for small businesses, the same kind I built to run my own. You work with me directly, start to finish.

Trained as a product designer

I studied product design (industrial design) at Auburn University and graduated with a degree in it. Product design is about physical things that have to work, be built and be used by real people. It taught me how to run large projects, hit deadlines and think through systems down to the last detail, and I use it on every software build.

People firstWatch how the work is really done before designing anything. Automations start from your team's day, not from the tool.
Prototype, test, repeatSketch, model and test early, so the expensive mistakes happen on paper. You see a working draft early, not a finished surprise.
Design for how it's madeA product has to be manufacturable. Software has to be maintainable: simple parts, clear notes, nothing only I understand.
Systems and deadlinesSemester-long studio projects with real clients, fixed reviews and hard critiques. Scope, schedule and every part fitting together.

How I work

  • You work with me directly, start to finish. No hand-offs to a junior, no agency layers.
  • I'm an owner too. I run a real online business, so I build for cash flow, launches and small teams, not for show.
  • AI only where it pays its way. Plenty of good automation runs on plain rules with no per-use AI cost. Where AI helps, it drafts and a person approves.
  • First class in every class. One-off build or monthly plan, you get fast replies, white-glove setup and plain-English notes.
  • Honest scoping. The free strategy call tells you what's worth automating, and what isn't.
